Happy Friday everyone! This is a character I painted from one of my favourite fairy tales by Hans Christian Andersen. English is not my first language, but I even wrote a primitive rhyme to go along with it

"She took his heart and brought it still. Where is no way, there is no will. He's weak from cold and doomful sting. She signed his soul with steel: "Snow Queen"...Cheers!

Oh wow, she's quite beautiful!

Heh, in the thumbnail she looked cruel, and wicked, but in full view.... why her face and expression seems rather soft.... benign even. As if she's a kindly being with only a terrifying appearance; and it was nothing personal or vicious to the man whose heart she holds.... Perhaps she first only sang him sweetly to sleep, and gentle death.

Haha you've got my imagination going with this picture.

It's really very lovely.

Beautiful details and design. Her gown and sceptre, the shoulder-spikes and horns, the silvery-vein pattern in her skirt.... and the environment makes me think of the land of the Southern Oracle from Neverending Story.

Cool mood it presents.

Just gorgeous all over.
